Diane reminded us that the August meeting will be a Sew-In to make Fidget Mats for patients with dementia, and September is a Sew-In to make NICU Scent Hearts.  For the Fidget Mats, you may make a complete one or make individual blocks that can be sewn together (cut size 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" so that they finish at 6" x 6" with the 1/4" seam).

Sew Crazies Challenge (Fabric Manipulation) and Sew  Tell:

Jeanette modeled a dress she made. ​ She says it is an easy pattern and the sleeves can be made in a variety of ways.  ​This one had split sleeves.

Nancy created this Candy Land Quilt with her version of Princess Lolly.  She used the heart template covered with fabric strips, lollipops from spiraled bias tape cording, and game board squares of silk Dupioni.

​Nancy M embellished this T-shirt by using fabric cut in strips from a second T-shirt (matching or contrast color).
