NICU blankets for AdventHealth
The Sew Crazies had a Sew-In workday at our July meeting to make NICU blankets for Advent Health (Florida Hospital). The room was bustling with activity as people were busy cutting, serging, sewing, pressing, counting and bagging.
Members continued to make and finish additional blankets at home which were collected at the August and September meetings. In September we delivered 1358 blankets to the NICU at AdventHealth Orlando. It was heartwarming to know that we (the Sew Crazies Neighborhood Group of ASG Orlando Chapter) could contribute to make the tiny babies and their parents have a special warm cozy blanket to keep as a special memory that love and blessings were sewn into each of those blankets. Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a success!
